Shopping mall Almere Centrum counts 87,000 sqm of GLA, offers a home to a wide range of approximately 100 tenants in cosmetics, electronics, department stores, fashion and various food and leisure outlets and clearly marks the center of Almere’s retail district
UMB Group will exert further emphasis on the symbiotic relationship between retail and leisure and aims to expand the food and leisure segment in Almere Centrum to increase the diversity of the offering in order for Almere Centrum to appeal to a wider audience
Almere is one of the most attractive geographies in close proximity to Amsterdam and one of the few Dutch cities with the ability to offer a solution to the structural housing shortage with plans encompassing the development of c.75,000 units in the “Amsterdam Bay Area”
The acquisition price amounts to €155.7 million, therewith being equal to the latest appraised value and the transfer has been arranged by means of a share deal
