Kempen Capital Management big winner at the Morningstar Awards 2020
Kempen Capital Management (Kempen) has won three awards at the annual Morningstar Awards ceremony and as a result awarding the asset manager as the ‘best fund house on all asset categories in the Netherlands’. The award ceremony, where the independent rating agent Morningstar rewards funds and fund houses that excelled in their category last year, took place online this year via a livestream.
Not only were the winners chosen for their strong performance in the past year, they also had to provide convincing figures in the past five years. In addition to investment return, the (proportional) risk is also considered in the assessment. Kempen won awards in the three categories below.
- Best fund house all asset categories: Kempen Capital Management
- Best fund house fixed income: Kempen Capital Management
- Best equity fund the Netherlands: Kempen Orange Fun
Lars Dijkstra, Chief Investment Officer at Kempen, commented on the results: “We are very proud of the recognition that these awards represent. These awards are a wonderful compliment to our team and a reward for the path we have taken since 2005: building a strong culture of a talented group of people.
