Kempen Euro Credit team wins Belgian Fund Award for best corporate bond fund for sixth consecutive year
The De Tijd & L’Echo Fund Awards event is hosted annually by the Flemish business journal ‘De Tijd’ and their French-language counterpart ‘L’Echo’. It is the first time that a team has been classed as award-winning for six straight years. In Belgium, the Fund Awards event is a leading benchmark for investment funds.
Alain van der Heijden, Head of the Credit Team: "This award is a wonderful complement to our team and our investment policy. We are therefore very proud that we have won the award for sixth consecutive years. The award is of course the greatest recognition for our customers."
Growth in the Belgian market
Kempen Capital Management (Kempen) sees an increase in demand in Belgium for the niche investment strategies they offer. “We see more and more interest in strategies that invest in listed real estate, high dividend shares and small caps.”
Loes Wingens responsible for the Belgian market explains: "Kempen funds are characterized by a long-term investment vision, a clear investment strategy and clear ESG integration. This sixth Fund Award is therefore a real incentive to serve the Belgian market even better. "
