PNO Media selects Kempen as their fiduciary manager for the DC pension scheme
By offering a comprehensive range of retirement plans with free choice for the social partners, PNO Media takes an important step towards the future. The latest addition to the range is a DC life cycle pension scheme. For the DC pension scheme, PNO Media has appointed Kempen as their fiduciary manager.
Nelly Altenburg, Chairperson of PNO Media, stated: ‘PNO Media is looking forward to a successful cooperation with Kempen. Kempen combines asset management expertise with a clear vision on the future of pensions, leveraging the strong collective of a pension fund.’
Wilse Graveland, Head of Fiduciary Management Pensions, and Florentine Hanlo, Senior Fiduciary Manager at Kempen, added: ‘By combining a DC life cycle pension scheme with the existing DB pension scheme, PNO Media is creating a new type of pension scheme. This new scheme is innovative and responds to the needs of the social partners. At Kempen, we are proud of the trust that PNO Media places in us to partner with them in introducing this future-resilient solution.’
PNO Media plans to launch the PNO DC life cycle pension scheme as early as this spring.
PNO Media is the pension fund for the media and creative industries that aims to offer modern and sustainable retirement solutions, on a collective basis, for the benefit of employers, members, deferred members, and pension beneficiaries. PNO Media administers the pension scheme for 406 employers, 16,926 members, 31,165 deferred members, and 9,947 pension beneficiaries in the creative industry. With an invested capital of approximately € 5.9 billion as at 31 December 2018, PNO Media is one of the larger pension funds out of a total of 245 in the Netherlands. The fund is large enough to reap benefits of scale and small enough to be agile and respond flexibly to change.
