Hedge Fund Strategies
We feel that it is important for the investment teams of the uncorrelated strategies concerned to co-invest to a significant extent in their own funds to ensure that the interests of the investors and their clients are properly balanced. Uncorrelated strategies that are active in non-traditional investment markets or that employ a market-neutral strategy within traditional investment markets are, in our opinion, best positioned to add real value.
Our investment committee consists of ten experienced specialists who share a vast network. Through this network we get into touch with interesting uncorrelated strategies and annually we visit approximately three hundred funds. As part of a thorough analysis, we pay several visits to every uncorrelated strategy, in various team compositions, before we decide to invest in them. The bar is set high, and we run concentrated portfolios. We aim for portfolios that are diversified over strategies and styles, and that exhibit limited market sensitivity.
